Jacksonville Bible Church is a contemporary, non-denominational, evangelical church. Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Christ who obey His commands and train others to do the same.

We are committed to expositional preaching and teaching of Scripture with the aim of equipping believers to do the work of ministry for the building up of the body of Christ.

Given that Jacksonville is the youngest city in the United States, it is natural that our services will have a contemporary feel. Just the same, recognizing the value of remembering lessons from the past that come out of our rich Christian heritage, we will interject a hymn here and there.

Understanding that next to loving God with our whole being, the next most important thing is that we love one another in word and in action, we are committed to the cultivation of an authentic community in which the “one another” exhortations of Scripture are faithfully practiced.

Our mission of course drives us to outreach. We are committed to reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ both in the Jacksonville area and globally through our support of several missionaries.
